Angelica Faith Villafranca, age 8, of the School of Saint Anthony in Quezon City, Philippines, proudly shares with us her new Elementary Grade 3 social studies and history textbook “Tuklas Lahi 3” that showcases Vigan as one of the New7Wonders Cities.
“The New7Wonders campaigns are already in many textbooks, general books and publications, and even academic studies around the world,” says Bernard Weber, Founder of New7Wonders. “We now welcome all Elementary Grade 3 school children across the Philippines to learn even more about our interesting and wonderful worldwide voting campaigns!”
Tuklas Lahi 3″ is published by Brilliant Creations Publishing Inc. of the Philippines, and authored by Mario L. Flores II, Jessica Mariz R. Ignacio, and Rowel S. Padernal.
Historic Vigan in the province of Ilocos Sur was officially inaugurated as a New7Wonders City in May 2015. Established in the 16th century, Vigan represents a fusion of cultural elements from the Philippines, China and Europe, creating a city that is without equal in Asia.
