Bernard Weber says: “Happy New Year!”

Bernard Weber, Founder-President New7Wonders, looks forward to a wonderful New Year.
Bernard Weber, Founder-President New7Wonders, looking forward to building the Wall of Wonders, the virtual manifestation of of the New7Wonders movement, in 2015 and beyond.

Zurich, Switzerland: Warmest greetings to all the friends of New7Wonders around the world!

Our past year was crowned on 7 December with the declaration in Dubai of the New7Wonders Cities, and in 2015 we look forward to arranging Official Inauguration events in each of the elected 7: Beirut, Doha, Durban, Havana, Kuala Lumpur, La Paz and Vigan. I extend my sincere thanks to all who voted in the campaign.

In the coming year, our focus will be very much on building the Wall of Wonders, a digital platform designed to bring together the people of the world. Over time, this interactive wall will become the virtual manifestation of our movement. All the images, comprising millions and millions of pixels made of photos of people from all over the world, of all races, religions and cultures, will create the full wall image of the voted New7Wonders of the World and the New7Wonders of Nature.

On the occasion of the launch, I said, “To leave your mark forever, your eternal imprint, go to wallofwonders.com upload your photo and become part of ‘#7billionWoW‘ — the Wall of Wonders.”

The Wall of Wonders is an exciting development with great potential for creating a positive message when the news is dominated by stories of suffering and sorrow. During difficult times it is especially important that we are ready to encourage and offer support wherever we can, and New7Wonders urges all the members of its global community to be there for each other throughout the coming year.

In this spirit of hope and harmony, I wish you a Happy New Year!
