Discussions with Indonesian travel industry leaders

Indonesia and New7Wonders have a historic relationship over more than 12 years. This was reactivated during a series of meetings in Jakarta with leading representatives of the Indonesian travel industry. The New7Wonders Director Jean-Paul de la Fuente met with the Indonesian chapter of the Pacific Asian Tourism Association (PATA), specifically its President CEO Bapak Purnomo Siswoprasetjo and its Executive Director Bapak Dr. Agus Canny.

Working meeting between New7Wonders and the Association of Indonesian Travel Agencies

Many issues were discussed, including not only how to re-energise the market for Komodo, one of the Official New 7 Wonders of Nature, but most importantly new areas and opportunities for New7Wonders and Indonesia. A working meeting also took place with the President of the Association of Indonesian Travel Agencies (ASITA), Ibu Dr. Rusmiati. When presenting the official New7Wonders book to PATA, the New7Wonders Director reaffirmed his commitment to Indonesia and all the opportunities that can be developed with the New7Wonders brand across this unique nation.
