Ido Tadmor is dancing for the Dead Sea

For Ido Tadmor, the Dead Sea is a place on endless inspiration.

Israeli dancer and choreographer Ido Tadmor has decided to serve as the lead presenter for the Dead Sea, one of the 28 Official Finalists in the New7Wonders of Nature campaign.

Inspired by the history and beauty of the deepest hypersaline lake in the world, which borders Jordan to the east and Israel and the West Bank to the west, Tadmor has created a special dance. “The Dead Sea is my favourite spot in Israel,” Tadmor says. “This is the place where I can rest and go through a ‘rebirthing’, where I feel the strongest spiritual connection, where I feel purified and cleansed. For me — this is one of the most amazing places on earth, and it is important for me to be an active part in its care and development.”

Tadmor is asking people all over the world to vote for the Dead Sea at  join the official Dead Sea page on Facebook. And on another social media note, a video clip of Tadmor’s creation can be seen on the Dead Sea YouTube Chanel.
