Zurich, Switzerland Today’s 7 Wonders Day commemorates the Official Declaration of the New 7 Wonders of the World on 07.07.07 in Lisbon, Portugal, after a first-of-kind global democratic poll.

The concept of Global Memory and the Canon of 7 were further expanded by the election of the New 7 Wonders of Nature in 2011 and the New 7 Wonders Cities in 2014. In total, more than 600 million votes were cast in the three campaigns.
New7Wonders Founder Bernard Weber says: “Anyone can get involved in 7 Wonders Day.
