ZURICH: New7Wonders has completed its visit to Chichén Itzá, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, as part of the Official New7Wonders VII (Verification, Information and Improvement) process.
The N7W VII is the ongoing audit programme conducted by New7Wonders as the world authority for the voted Wonders, to ensure they are able to maintain their status as Wonders, and to advise on changes and improvements to be made to ensure this. The New7Wonders VII has already been completed by the China Great Wall, which has successfully confirmed its official Wonder status.
Chichén Itzá, the Mayan pyramid in the State of Yucatan, Mexico, is therefore the second Wonder to be audited. The process is currently underway, and a preliminary New7Wonders VII report will be provided by New7Wonders to the relevant authorities in the coming weeks.
