Komodo and New7Wonders: strong ranking performance over the past month

As it enters what might be its final week before suspension, Komodo has proven to be a strong performer in the weekly New7Wonders of Nature rankings published every Tuesday.

Looking at the past four weeks, and out of the 28 Finalists, Komodo has ranked as follows:

– This week it is positioned respectively 2nd and 10th in the Age and Gender proportion rankings.

– In the international vote rankings, it was positioned 26th, equivalent to ranking 3 in the national votes ranking.

– In the fastest growing rankings, it was positioned 11th out of 28.

– In the most important ranking of them all, the Top 14 / Bottom 14, Komodo was positioned in the Top 14 group (where it has been consistently every month).

Commenting on this ranking information, Eamonn Fitzgerald, Head of Communications for New7Wonders says “Fans of Komodo are behind this fantastic ranking success, and we congratulate them.” He continues, “These same fans are also actively appealing for the issues surrounding the possible suspension of Komodo to be resolved positively, which New7Wonders completely supports.”
