Oprah at Uluru

Oprah
'You're going to Australia! We are going to Australia! You and you and you are going to Australia.'

During the 25th season premiere of herTV show, Oprah Winfrey gave 300 viewers the surprise of their lives. “You’re going to Australia! We are going to Australia! You and you and you are going to Australia.”

And they went. One of the highlights of their trip Down Under was a visit to New7Wonders of Nature candidate Uluru. This was great news for Uluru and for New7 Wonders Official Support Committee partner Tourism Australia, which is enjoying a windfall of international publicity from Oprah’s visit.

Now that Oprah has been to Uluru, what can expect from the other New7Wonders of Nature contenders? Which one will get Johnny Depp to endorse their candidacy? Where might Angelina Jolie appear? The campaign is getting exciting.

Oprah Winfrey is best known for her television talk show, which has become the highest-rated program of its kind in history. Although, she was born into poverty in rural Mississippi to a teenage single mother, Winfrey went on to became the richest African American of the 20th century. Along with being a billionaire, she is one of the most influential women in the world.
