A spectacular display of 700 balloons was released by some very excited children recently, set free to fly across the Cliffs of Moher in an appeal to the world to vote for it to become one of the Official New7Wonders of Nature

Each balloon is inscribed with “vote for the cliffs”, and the event organizers, the Cliffs of Moher visitor centre, are asking those who find a balloon to contact them – who knows how far they could reach!

The Cliffs of Moher, which stretch for 8 km and rise up to 214 meters above the Atlantic Ocean, are Ireland´s Finalist in the Official New7Wonders of Nature campaign.
