Peace baton passes through Petra

Zurich/Switzerland — The Jordanian Peace Baton passed through the Nabatean “Rose-Red City” of Petra recently on its 350-km (217-mile) journey to open the sixth “Generations for Peace” sports camp. Jordan’s Prince Faisal accepted the Baton at the camp on behalf of the 77 young participants from 17 countries/territories worldwide. Generations for Peace is recognized by the International Olympic Committee.
