Polish police encourage good driving and good voting!

In the Warmińsko-Mazurska region of Poland, good drivers were rewarded this past weekend with prizes promoting the Masurian Lake District as one of the 28 Official Finalists in the New7Wonders of the World election.

“This is a creative and fun way to raise awareness for the beautiful Masurian Lakes as one of the elite 28 Official New7Wonders of Nature Finalists. Police officers shared their pride in the region with many people, and it also added a friendly note to routine road checks — surely a pleasant surprise for many Polish drivers!” notes Tia B. Viering, Head of Communications for New7Wonders.
